Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
BibliCall ("BibliCall," "we," "us") is an AI assistant guided by biblical wisdom, available at biblicall.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past.
The short version: we collect only what BibliCall needs to work. We never sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use your conversations to build advertising profiles.
Information you give us
- Your questions and conversations. What you type or say to BibliCall, and its replies.
- Files you add. Photos, PDFs, documents and text you attach to a question or share in a group call.
- Your voice. If you use the microphone, your recording is converted to text. If you use Listen, the reply text is converted to speech.
- Account details (only if you create a free account). Your first name if you give it, your email address if you sign in by email, and a passkey (Face ID / Touch ID). A passkey stores only a public key with us. Your fingerprint or face never leaves your device.
- Memory and kept conversations (only if you choose to save them to your account). The things you ask BibliCall to remember, and the conversations you star (★) to keep.
- Daily North Star email (only if you sign up). Your email address, so we can send one short verse and reflection each morning. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- My week reminders (only if you turn them on). Your goals and reminders are saved on your device. When you turn on reminders, the reminder text and time, your weekly goals, your time zone and check-in choices, and your phone’s notification address are kept on our server so we can notify you. They are not linked to your name or email. Reminders are deleted once sent or removed; turning reminders off removes the notification address.
- Share my week (only if you choose it). The first name you enter, your weekly goals and, only if you include them, your upcoming reminders are kept so that anyone you give the link to can see them and send encouragement. Tap “Stop sharing” to remove them.
- Family & group weeks (only if you start or join one). The group name, the first names of its members and its shared goals are kept so members can see them. Leaving a group removes your name.
- Sync across your devices (only when you sign in). Your to-do list, calendar reminders, reading plan and group weeks are saved to your BibliCall account so they appear on each device where you sign in. Your prayer journal and the list of people you pay are synced only if you turn that on in the Me tab.
- Sync apps (Monday.com) (only if you connect it). Your Monday.com token stays on your device. When you sync, your to-do items and reminders are passed through our server to Monday.com and are not stored by BibliCall.
- Payments. BibliCall never moves money and never asks for bank, card or account passwords. The list of people you pay (names and their Venmo, PayPal, Cash App or Zelle contact) stays on your device; tapping Pay opens your own payment app, where you approve the payment. If you set a payment reminder with reminders turned on, its text (such as the name and amount) is sent to our server only to notify you.
- Your own background photo (only if you choose one). It is kept only on your device and is never uploaded to BibliCall.
- Prayer journal and reading plan. These stay on your device. If you turn on reminders, a prayer check-in note and its time, and the name of today’s chapter, are sent to our server only so we can notify you.
- Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, your email address and the last question you asked, so we know what brought you.
- Messages to us. Anything you send to hello@biblicall.com.
Information collected automatically
- Network address (IP address). Used to apply fair daily limits and keep the service safe from abuse. These daily counters are deleted automatically each day.
- Anonymous usage counts. We count things like visits, questions asked, North Stars shown, verses shared, music turned on, and taps of 👍 or 👎, as daily totals only. These counts contain no names, email addresses, network addresses, or the content of your questions.
- Returning visits. To know how many people use BibliCall each week and how many come back, each device sends one anonymous check-in per day using a random device number, scrambled before it is stored. It is never linked to your name, email or questions.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting providers keep standard technical logs (such as time, browser type and address) for security and reliability.
- Storage on your own device. If you don't have an account, your saved conversations and memory stay in your browser on your device. You can clear them anytime from the menu or your browser settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To answer your questions, verify scripture against the King James Bible, read your files, and speak or transcribe when you ask.
- To keep your memory and kept conversations available on every device you sign in on.
- To send emails you ask for (sign-in links and, if you signed up, the Daily North Star) and, if you joined the waitlist, launch news. You can ask us to remove you anytime.
- To apply fair-use limits, prevent abuse, and keep BibliCall running well.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Services that help run BibliCall
BibliCall relies on a few trusted providers, who process information only to provide their service to us:
- Anthropic provides the AI model (Claude) that writes BibliCall's answers. Your questions, conversation and attached files are sent to Anthropic to produce a reply.
- Cloudflare runs BibliCall's servers, stores accounts, memory, kept conversations and group calls, and provides speech-to-text and text-to-speech.
- GitHub hosts the BibliCall website.
- Resend delivers our emails, such as sign-in links.
- Web search. For questions about current events, BibliCall may search the web. The search terms come from your question.
- Images and fonts. Background photographs load from Unsplash, ESA/Webb and ESA/Hubble, and the typeface loads from Google Fonts. As with any website, these services can see your network address when your browser loads them.
- Payments (when paid plans launch) will be handled by Stripe. BibliCall will not see or store your full card number.
Group calls
When you join a group call, your name as you enter it, your messages and any photos you share are visible to everyone in that call. Call rooms, including their messages and photos, are deleted automatically after 30 days without activity.
How long we keep information
- Account details, memory and kept conversations: until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.
- Daily North Star list: until you unsubscribe.
- Reminders: until they are sent or you remove them. Weekly goals and check-in choices: until you turn reminders off or ask us to delete them.
- Waitlist emails: until BibliCall launches and for as long as you'd like updates. You can ask us to remove you anytime.
- Fair-use counters: deleted daily. Group call rooms: deleted after 30 idle days.
- Conversations you don't keep are not stored on BibliCall's servers after your answer is delivered (aside from short-lived technical logs). Our AI provider may keep data for a limited time under its own policies, for example to prevent misuse.
Your choices
- See or delete your data. Remove memories and un-star conversations anytime from the menu. To delete your whole account, email hello@biblicall.com from the email on your account, or include your account code, and we'll delete it.
- Leave the waitlist. Email us and we'll remove your address.
- Use BibliCall without an account. Everything stays on your device.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as to access, correct, or delete your information, or to object to certain uses. Contact us and we'll help.
Children
BibliCall is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), passkeys instead of passwords, and secret keys that are never stored in our website code. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let account holders know.
